The Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefed the Kathmandu-based diplomatic and international community about the first edition of the Sagarmatha Sambaad on 21 November 2019.
The inaugural episode of the Sambaad is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from April 2 to 4, 2020, on the theme “Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity”.
The briefing chaired by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali was also attended by Minister for Forests and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet, and Minister for Finance Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada.
Foreign Minister Gyawali briefed the diplomatic and international community about the objectives of the Sambaad, its logo, organizational structure and Nepal’s expectations from the Sambaad.
Minister Gyawali also requested the diplomatic and international community for their goodwill for the success of the Nepal’s initiative.
